Geoff qualified in Dundee in 2005. His passion for dentistry shines through from your first appointment, and he sees offering you the best possible care as a priority. Geoff has completed over 9 years of postgraduate studying and training and is one of only a few dentists in Scotland to have successfully completed the Royal College of Surgeons Diploma in Restorative Dentistry.

In addition to his busy practices, Geoff is also currently undertaking the Royal College Diploma in Implant Dentistry. His additional qualifications and extensive practice experience put him at the forefront of general dental practice.

Geoff’s main interest is in the restoration of mouths with multiple problems and helping those who do not want to accept having to limit or restrict what they eat or how they smile because of missing, broken or crooked teeth.

Anthony is an exceptionally qualified and skilled dentist. As well as his BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and BDS qualifications, he has completed postgraduate diplomas in Restorative Dentistry, Prosthetics and Aesthetics. Anthony is currently undergoing an MSc in Specialist Practice of Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry to expand his knowledge and skills even further.

Anthony has been part of Portlethen Dental since 2018. He is also the founder of AD Aesthetics and Dentistry, helping patients achieve the smiles they have always wanted with enhanced and elevated treatments. Anthony particularly enjoys transforming a patient’s smile with a smile makeover involving composite bonding and veneers or a full mouth rehabilitation. He is also skilled in tailored facial aesthetics treatments to help his patients feel refreshed and rejuvenated in their own skin.

Outside of work, Anthony’s golden retriever, Rufus, and three house rabbits keep him busy! He also enjoys cold water exposure, travelling and taking in the beautiful scenery while hill walking around Scotland.

Ruaidhri gained his BDS at the University of Dundee in 2014 and has been at Portlethen for eight years. He takes pride in constantly improving his skills and knowledge with postgraduate training.

Ruaidhri is passionate about minimally invasive dentistry, which he uses to provide his patients with the very best care.

Outside of work, Ruaidhri is a big fan of sport, particularly tennis, rugby and football, although has become more of a spectator than player since he hit his 30s! He also loves to travel and spend time with his daughter.

Rohan has been with us at Portlethen for three years. With her BDS and Postgraduate Certificate in Orthodontics, Rohan is the dentist to go to for tooth straightening.

Orthodontics and facial aesthetics are Rohan’s special dental interests, and her favourite part of the job is comparing the before and after pics when the braces come off and her patients have a big beautiful smile.

80s music-loving Rohan spends her time away from the practice hillwalking, running and enjoying holidays – though she has to make sure her cat is looked after before she ventures too far afield!

Willie graduated from CEU San Pablo, Spain, in 2021, achieving his Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry. He joined Portlethen Dental in 2022 after relocating to Aberdeen.

Willie enjoys being surrounded with a group of like-minded individuals in the practice, all working together to achieve the best results. He loves giving his patients a reason to smile again!

Outside of work, Willie’s interests include blockchain technology and exploring new restaurants. He is also a fan of sport, particularly tennis, basketball and badminton.

Hannah has been part of the team at Portlethen Dental Care since August 2015, having graduated from the University of Dundee with BSc Oral Health Sciences (with distinction) in the same year.

Hannah really enjoys building relationships with her patients, and has got to know many patients very well over the years! She also loves helping people maintain a clean and healthy mouth.

Hannah has recently taken up running, and has her sights set on completing a half marathon! She also loves going on holiday and tries to visit somewhere new each year.

Nicole is our senior dental nurse and has been at Portlethen looking after our patients for more than 12 years now! With a diploma in Dental Nursing, an award in Dental Intravenous Sedation Nursing and Dental Radiography for DCPs, she is well qualified and skilled.

Nicole has a special interest in implant nursing and managing anxiety in patients. Her favourite part of her job is when she is able to help patients to combat extreme anxiety and settle into their treatment.

In her spare time, Nicole is a keen baker – watch out Paul Hollywood! She also enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, Radio 2 and going to see live music.

Claire is one of our long-standing nurses and has been with Portlethen Dental for nearly 10 years now! Claire is a qualified dental nurse, with her Diploma in Dental Nursing. She is also qualified in Dental Radiography.

Working mostly with our associate Anthony, Claire’s favourite part of the job is showing patients the end results of big cases which have included composite bonding.

Outside of the practice, fitness fan Clare spends her time at the gym or walking as well as catching up with her friends and family and going to the movies.

Kelsie has been at Portlethen for over 2 years now after completing her Dental Nurse PDA and SVQ in Dental Nursing.

Her areas of passion are within orthodontics and facial aesthetics – and she loves nothing more than seeing the final results after treatment.

Weekends away, holidaying and eating in lovely restaurants take up Kelsie’s time away from the practice and she also has a gorgeous kitty cat to welcome her home after a day in surgery.

Genevieve has been with us since 2019, and is a fully qualified dental nurse. In the practice, she is always happiest when seeing patients pleased with the results of their treatment.

Outside of work, Genevieve is very active and always on the move! She loves dancing of all kinds including Salsa, Bachata and Kizumba and outdoor pursuits such as fishing and snorkelling. She is also a keen foodie and loves to cook up a storm in the kitchen.

Working often behind the scenes to keep our practice running smoothly, Gill has been at Portlethen since 2012. Her favourite part of her job is meeting new patients when they come to see us for the first time.

Inside and outside the practice, Gill’s favourite radio station is Smooth – especially if they are playing her absolute heart-throb and hero, (Sir) George Michael, as she calls him!

At weekends and evenings, when Gill isn’t at Club Tropicana, she can be found cheering on and supporting her beloved Manchester City football club or going on big long walks and playing with her lovely doggies – Bryleigh, a collie and Cooper, a spaniel.

Millie has been with Portlethen Dental for 6 years now and is one of the friendly faces you see as soon as you come into the practice.

Millie loves meeting patients and is always happy to help them out when trying to get booked in and organised.

Outside the practice, Millie loves going on long walks and meeting up and socialising with her friends.

Lorraine has been with us since January 2021, and has established herself very much as one of the Portlethen team!

Lorraine’s helpful and friendly disposition is just one of the things our patients love about her and her favourite part of the job is seeing the patient journey from their first visit to the practice to their final stunning smile.

Outside of the practice, Lorraine’s time is taken up spending time with her lovely little grandson, walking her dogs and going to the cinema.

Our housekeeper Yvonne has been keeping Portlethen Dental Care in tip top shape for nearly 7 years now and we wouldn’t know what to do without her!

Yvonne’s favourite part of her job is meeting new people and chatting with them. At the weekend, she loves listening to music and chilling out – that is when she is not at Easter Road cheering on her favourite football team Hibernian!
