Not One, Not Two… But Three Diplomas – Geoff Gordon’s Relentless Drive
Most people take on one diploma at a time. Geoff Gordon now has three.
We’re proud to share that Geoff, our Practice Principal, has recently been awarded two new postgraduate diplomas simultaneously—one in Implant Dentistry and another in Education, Mentoring and Coaching, both through Smile Dental Academy.
He received both diplomas at The Royal College of Surgeons in England—a landmark venue for a landmark achievement.
These build on Geoff’s existing Diploma in Restorative Dentistry, confirming what many of us already know: Geoff doesn’t believe in standing still.
As a general dentist with a special interest in implants, Geoff continues to expand both his clinical scope and his ability to guide others. The Implant Dentistry diploma strengthens his surgical and restorative expertise, while the Education diploma formalises his role as a mentor and coach, inside the practice and beyond.
All of this, while still running the business, delivering exceptional care to patients, and supporting the wider team. It’s hard work, but he makes it look easy.
Geoff’s dedication to excellence has shaped the culture of the practice. His work ethic, humility and constant drive for improvement raise the bar for all of us. And if you’ve ever been on the receiving end of his care, mentoring or leadership, you’ll know exactly what we mean.
Congratulations, Geoff, a triple threat in the very best sense.

Supporting Local Families : Nicole and Kelsie Fundraise for AberNecessities
We’re incredibly proud of our dental nurses Nicole and Kelsie, who recently took the initiative to fundraise for local charity AberNecessities, raising money to support families and children in need across the Aberdeen area.
AberNecessities provides essential items such as nappies, formula, clothing and bedding to families experiencing hardship. Their motto, “No child should go without”, is one we fully support, and Nicole and Kelsie’s efforts will help the charity continue its vital work.
Thanks to their fundraising, we were able to make a donation that will directly benefit local children this winter. Whether it’s warm clothing, hygiene items or everyday essentials, every contribution makes a real difference.
We’re proud to be a practice that supports our community, not just through clinical care, but by giving back where it’s needed most.
Well done and thank you Nicole and Kelsie from the whole team.

Treatment Focus: Dental Implants – Your Questions Answered
A dental implant is a small titanium screw that replaces the root of a missing tooth. It’s placed into the jawbone and supports a crown, bridge or denture for a secure, natural-looking result.
Most adults with one or more missing teeth are suitable, provided they have good general and oral health. We’ll assess this carefully during a consultation.
The procedure is done under local anaesthetic and is generally no more uncomfortable than a standard extraction. Most patients are surprised by how straightforward it feels.
With good care and maintenance, implants can last 15 years or more—and often much longer.
Book a consultation with our implant team. We’ll carry out an assessment, answer your questions, and provide a personalised treatment plan.
